Function and Section of ZDB Pressure Relief Valve
Initial Position:
- Initially, the valves remain closed.
- Pressure in channel A acts upon the spool (1).
Pressure Mechanism:Pressure is applied to the spring-loaded side of the spool (1) via nozzle (2), and to the pilot poppet (6) via nozzle (3).
Activation:
- When the pressure in channel A surpasses the value set by the spring (5), the pilot poppet (6) opens.
- Hydraulic fluid then flows from the spring-loaded side of the spool (1) through nozzle (3) into channel T.
- This pressure drop shifts the spool (1), opening the connection from A to T, thereby maintaining the pressure set by the spring (5).
Pilot Oil Drainage:The pilot oil is externally drained from the two spring chambers via channel T.
Basic Structure:The ZDB and Z2DB types are pilot-operated pressure relief valves designed in a sandwich plate configuration, ensuring efficient pressure management.
